When adding a dominant color like blue, make sure its a color you love. Especially in this case, where we anchored the room with the blue sofa. Usually, we use accessories like the pillows, lamps, vases and books for pops of color and keep the bigger pieces neutral. This way should one tire of the color it's an easy fix. However, blue was our client's favorite color and she has two young children so she decided the dark color would be more inviting and forgiving for her kids to use when in the space.
